It will prevent your vehicle from being driven or even started when you don't enter a PIN code before entering. If the device is in armed and you try to drive off it will display an indication on your dash that will flash continuously for about 300m, if you enter your PIN code at this point it will disarm the anti-hijack device and your car will continue to operate as normal. If you don't enter your PIN in this moment the indicator will continue to flash and will require a new PIN every time you try to start your vehicle.
